Attention: Part 107 was announced by the FAA on 6/20/2016. Part 107 replaces the need for a 333 waiver so there is no need for people to request a 333 waiver. The FAA has said that those people who have received a 333 waiver may continue to operate under that until it expires. 333 waivers are good two years from the date they are issued. Part 107 is supposed to become law in late August of 2016.
As of June of 2016 approximately 6,000 333 waivers have been issued and there are 7,000 still in the queue to be processed.
Since it is taking well over 6 months for 333 waiver applications to be processed it makes no sense to apply for one now.
We are looking into ways that we can help individuals and companies become 107 compliant.
The total amount of time you will spend is less than 20 minutes.
